Sup Surf Australia is the Australian importer and distributor of Jimmy Lewis Stand Up Paddle Boards.

These state of the art boards are designed and shaped by Jimmy Lewis. Based on Maui, Jimmy has been at the cutting edge of design in the windsurfing and kitesurfing industry for many years, all the while retaining his strong surfing roots. This long tradition has found its way into his range of stand up paddle boards.

At Sup Surf Australia we offer the specialised ranges of Jimmy Lewis SUP boards that cater for the novice through to the expert, taking into account weight and ability variations.

Depending on the individual, the board you start on may be the one you use forever or if you want to challenge yourself with your paddling and wave performance you may find that over time you come down in size and board style.

The Jimmy Lewis SUP Board ranges cater for every stand up paddlers wishes with the following -

The ‘All-Around’ Range

This intermediate range of square tail boards have a flat bottom giving great stability for fitness paddling and cruising in the surf. The extra width throughout this range makes it very user friendly, as does the single fin. A great board for noseriding!

Available in white with red, light blue, mid blue, light green, mid green, mustard or light grey deck.

The ‘Surf’ Range

This range is designed for performance in the surf. They have down rails through the tail and a vee bottom, that when combined with the ‘2 and 1’ fin set up allows for aggressive surfing. The ‘Surf’ range features a progressive tail rocker.

Available in red, blue, yellow, white or green with black inserts.

The ‘Shredder’ Range

Available sizes-

9’4” x 28” x 4.125”

9’9” x 29” x 4.25”

This range is for the competent SUPer who is after high performance in the surf. The Shredder has a modern shortboard outline and rocker that allows for progressive and innovative stand up paddle surfing in the critical part of the wave.

The Shredder is available as a thruster or quad.

2. *Yellow and green deck with white rails and bottom
   

3. *Red and green deck with blue rails and bottom
   

4. *Blue and orange deck with yellow rails and bottom
   

All come with black pin lines.

The JL Big Wave Gun

Available size -

12’0” x 27.5” x 4.5”

Stand up Paddleboarding is moving into larger and larger surf, so Jimmy has put his proven Stand Up Gun into production. The Gun features an increased length for massive paddling power and wave catching ability. The entry rocker allows for plenty of speed when getting into big waves while the tail rocker allows for critical manoeuvring in heavy situations. A pulled in traditional pin tail and single fin create great stability and speed in this exceptional board.

Available in red, blue, white or yellow with black inserts.

The JL 12’6” Distance SUP

The JL Distance board was created for those looking for a purpose built distance paddler, without the hassles, complexities and cost of custom-built race boards. This board has a displacement vee hull section forward leading to a long, lean and FAST shape aft. The vee section forward breaks chop and promotes extended uninterrupted glide.

At 12’6” x 29” x 5”, this  board provides an extremely powerful and confident platform for distance paddling, allowing you to cover great expanses of open water, lakes or rivers at speed. If you live on or near water and are looking for a board specifically designed for distance paddling, then this is your board. Easy to balance on for extended lengths of time, FAST through the water, insane acceleration and glide. Touring, downwinders and point to point crossings are all part of the JL Distance game.

Note: 12’6” has been set as the ‘Stock’ division size for distance paddle races.

All Jimmy Lewis SUP Boards come with a carry handle inlayed into the deck and a deck pad fitted.
